NMC Decision Letter 2016

Published

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

thanks!

Hello @gegulfo01 no news on my CoS until now. What your agencty and trust? sorry for the late reply

Hi. Same with mine, now update 'til now. I'm with OMANFIL bound for KCH.

Hello everyone. I was put on queue last Aug.10 and I haven't received my DL 'til now nor did I get any feedback. My NMC portal says Further Information Required but my agency said to ignore it because it's just a heading. If NMC requires further document/detail, they will send an email and like I have mentioned, I didn't receive any. I also have an employment gap. 1st experience, I worked for a little over a year and then stopped for a year and a half and returned working as a nurse for 9 months. I emailed NMC regarding my gap and clarified my concerns and they reassured me any employment gap won't be an issue as long as I have at least 12 months experience. BTW, my agency is Omanfil and employed by KCH. Hopefully I'll receive my DL within this month or early October.

Hi bryansalan, how did you know you needed further information? I submitted my documents and was placed on queue last August 2 but there is no changes in my portal or any email from nmc.

Yeah. You will soon receive it. Just be patient. I was put on queue on August 22 so your assessment will be sooner. It will take NMC 40-60 days from the queuing date to assess your docs. Regarding the gap, they usually ask applicants to send their CV. But then again, you just have to wait for the feedback.

Hello! I know how anxious you are right now. On my case I was put on queue last July 28, 2017 and it's already day 52 for me. Just like the ithed I also have the headings "More Information Require Feedback" I even e-mailed my agent in the UK and she also no response. I guess we have to patiently wait. If after 60 days you haven't received any feedback that's the time you have to contact them thru phone or email. Good luck hopefully we received a positive feedback.

Hi! If you click the home butoon it will give you several options and one of them is "my application" click that and go to assessment area the "open" button and you view your portal there.

Sir I think you miscounted you queue mine started July 25th and today its my 39th. Mind the 40 to 70 days should be working days and holidays are not included. Though I had my feedback last week which is my 35th working day regarding my work history due to my gap. So I advised people here with working gaps to email nmc your resumes with specific working history so you can save time.

As long as you haven't received any NMC feedback email yet, it is possible that the further information they require will be coming from somewhere else, it could be from your school or from the PRC. In my case, the NMC contacted my school directly (about what? i have no clue) because it appears on my portal that they received additional documents by post from my school. You can try to email them, but that could take a while. But, this is good news, it means they are reviewing your docs. Good luck, I hope you get your DL soon.

Hello! Sir, honestly I really don't know the proper way of counting the days, I just based it on what I read here and most of them count it as regular days. Even the e-mail sent by NMC said "calendar days" not specifically working days. Anyhow, my batchmate got her DL on her 43rd regular calendar days because no further information was needed from her. Moreover, thank you for the heads up. I hope someone would clarify this matter more clearly. Thank you.

It was indicated in my portal. I mailed my docs on July 30 and it was delivered on Aug.1. My docs were tagged as 'received' on Aug.10 and it also showed 'Further Information Required' but I didn't get any email.

Yes, I guess so. I am just hoping for the best since I have gotten any feedback from them yet.
