NMC Decision Letter 2016

Published

Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.

thanks!

Hi there. I got in just three days before you.

Do you have your DL already?

Do you have your DL already?

Not yet, it's been 50 calendar days. Has anyone who entered the assessment last May got their DLs by now?

I got in last May 23 and I still haven't had any updates from the NMC.

I was in the assessment queue last May 8 and up to now no DL or feedback yet. I know of someone who has the same queue date as me, she got her DL yesterday.

Oh, good to hear about your friend. I have noticed though, that most of us here get a feedback or so before the 2 months mark. Some a week left, others just a few days. So perhaps, let's just wait some more. My agent told me that she will phone the NMC and ask about my application. I should be able to update you guys later as to what happened with mine. By the way, did you work in another country or your employment references are solely from your home country?

I am from the Philippines and I have only worked here. Although, I expect to be asked for a declaration of work gap since I did not declare my work as an occupational health nurse after my registration.

I see. That is kind of my situation too because the first employment I declared was last 2013 but I was registered by 2010. We will see anyway, if they will give us a feedback about that. The way they assess our documents I believe is entirely individualized and different from one another. I just pray that our assessors are kind and considerate enough. :)

Guys, I received my DL just now. Can't believe it because I just checked my e-mail one last time before going to sleep, if not for my agent calling me and letting me know it was already sent I'd have no idea at all. You should all be receiving yours soon. :)

Congrats!!!

Thank you samantha. :)

I also received my DL today. Everyone in queue this first week of May (maybe, I got in May 8) should be receiving their DLs as well.

It was exactly 38 business days. (1 month 3 weeks calendar days).

Goodluck fellow Nurses!
