Hi! Anyone here who knows how long it takes for the NMC to release a decision letter on your application, as I am anxiously waiting for mine for a little over a month now.
thanks!
How do you know when you are in the queue? is it when you click submit? also with the recruitment agencies what type of package do they offer? is anyone paying for everything themselves or have they negotiated with the organisation offering sponsorship. Did you get a contract by email setting out the terms and conditions of the position?
Hi Chazone. No, clicking on the submit button isnt same as entering the queue. You enter the queue the day when NMC recieves all your barcoded forms.
So far I have payed everything by my own but my sponser in the UK is going to reimburse all the money. The terms and conditions are there in the job offer letter. I recieved my job offer letter in person, UK hospitals come to India for the interviews. The job offer letter has all the terms and conditions and also, what they are going to reimburse.
Hi, I recently passed my Cbt and I was wondering whether I should get my previous university to send the barcoded form back to me or directly to nmc since the form regrading the transcript states to return it directly to nmc overseas registration. And did you all provide a prepaid envelope to your university to send it back to nmc???
Thanks in advance. I'm terrified about making a mistake.
Hi Shantyg. you need to be very careful when filling these barcoded forms. It is better to see the forms first and then send to NMC. When your school principal fills the form, request her that you will need to see it for once so that your application does not has to got through ordeals. Once you have seen that everything is good, take the envelop and send it to the NMC. It is better if you send it yourself. No school is going to take the headache to post it to the UK and it costs a lot too. It is wise to send the forms from nearest post office to your nursing school/ college.
thanks so much for your reply, does the NMC email you to let you know you are in the queue. They have all my documents which were uploaded the day after I submitted the application online.
I believe they don't send e-mails once you're placed on queue. You will just know you're in on the same day they got all your bar-coded forms. As for me, since I'm not the checking the portal every day,it was my agent who told me when I officially entered the assessment stage. In this case, you can ask your agent to do same for you because it helps in counting the days.:)
Hello everyone. I have been following this blog since long.I want to ask if there is anyone who entered the assessment queue on May 8th 2017 (same day as me) and have received the DL?
I know its taking around two months these days, but just in case.
Thank you.
I also entered the queue last May 8. I called the NMC 3x and they just said the same thing every single time: wait for it. Maximum waiting time is 2 months. I am wondering if anyone got their DLs yet? I haven't got it and now it's been 30 working days.
