Hi everyone,
I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and now working as an Intensive Care Unit Nurse here in Saudi Arabia for almost two years.
I am planning to move my nursing career further in Ireland. I have paid the €350 assessment fee with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the accounts department already provided me with a pin and advised me to wait for the delivery of my application pack.
The assessment fee was processed since April 17, 2015. I just wonder about how long it would take me to receive the application pack here in Saudi Arabia.
I hope that someone could help me. I'm so excited to process my application for Registration with NMBI.
Thanks.
hi keluboi!Where are you from?I think it is better that you call or go to you local post office and ask about your package. Because in my case my pack has been sitting in their office for a week and had I not called, it would not have been delivered to me.
I just googled and I cant find our local post office. Is it PHLPost? I'm from Imus Cavite. How did you know your local post office btw?
Hello everyone, just want to ask. My previous employer (BPO) does not provide any stamp or seal on my employer reference form. the only one that they provide is COE, does anyone of you encounter the same issue? Thanks!
Oh gosh. I resigned from a hospital (which I've worked for 4 years) and now I am currently in the BPO sector for 3 months. When my package will arrive do you think it'll be the best idea to declare my current work or do I just have to state that I'm unemployed? My plan is to resume working in the hospital after 6 months.
is it healthcare related BPO? my current company (BPO) provided an explanation as to why they don't provide any stamp or seal, however if am still less than 12 months in my current company so I have no choice but to ask for another employer reference from my previous BPO company where I used work as Nurse Associate and sad to say they don't provided any seal, stamp or any explanation. just the COE. So Im thinking to exclude them from my employers reference and Ill just provide another employer reference from my 2012 bedside experience. Errrrrrrr...... :-(Oh gosh. UPDATE: I JUST GOT MY NMBI PACKAGE.
Thank you den_csa for the encouragement to intentionally get my package in the local post office. NMBI sent it last January 11, 2017 and the package arrived in the Philippines last January 25, 2017. For those who are waiting, I think you have to find your mail because more than a month of waiting is too much and your post office might not doing their job.
I'll now sort my information. I still got a long way to go. Have a nice day ahead everyone!

Congrats keluboi!! Hehehe im so happy for you. Yeah, the people in the post office are definitely unreliable. Piece of advice, photocopy your pack before filling them out coz you might make some errors. :)
Some of you guys who still haven't received their pack, instead of bugging NMBI, better pay a visit to your local post office.
I just check the package and I have few questions though.
1) how did you complete your data such as name of institutions, programmes, etc. if the boxes aren't enough? Did you use full names or just initials?
2) did you add any postgraduate qualifications (the one with atleast 3 months duration)? Did you write your IV therapy certificates?
3) I am currently employed in BPO (not related to healthcare) for 3 months now, prior to that I have been employed in a hospital for 4 years right after my licensure. Will I have to write anything in the gap/overlap section? My plan is to not declare my current job and pretend I am unemployed. Will that be alright?
I really hope anyone from here could answer my questions.
