ok, here we go. i just registered after going thru virtually every post related to the nln pre-entrance exam. first i would like to thank all of you who have contributed links and info. on the exam and how to study for it.
i understand that many who felt they did not do well were stuck on physics. i to am concerned about the physics & earth science section since i have never had it, or cannot remember it. if anyone can recommend any dvd's on this or links, i would greatly appreciate it. i have purchased many dvds related to a&p, math, vocabulary, chemistry.
out of the links i looked at, no one mentioned buying study materials on ebay. i find ebay to be very resourceful and economical. for all of you taking the exam, i highly suggesting practicing math and vocabulary and get the national league for nursing review guide for re pre-enntrance exam 2nd edition (mary e. mcdonald) and write down every word you are unfamiliar with and learn it. the more you study the less stressed out you will be. good luck :balloons:

I recommend "The Cartoon guide to Physics" by Larry Gonick.
It's about 200 pages of general physics. It's not boring either.
It's alg level
thanks Kung fu ftr for your reply, I will look into that book right away, so much appreciate your advice.

Someone please tell me I'm misreading this. There's PHYSICS on the NLN? I didn't have PHYSICS on the PCAT, and you have to have a year of it to go to pharmacy school!
there is definetly PHYSICS on the nln, you should really get the review book, it to has a quick physics review:saint:
