Hi! Just thought I would start a new thread for NJCU, 2014 applicants! - Any thoughts/concerns regarding the application process or help from alumni is greatly appreciated! I'm applying to the Wall cohort for this May. :up:

Did anyone else in the JC cohort receive a receipt for their deposit?

I received a confirmation from Jersey City that they received my check. I mailed it last Monday and got the letter Friday. They still haven't cashed the check though.

I had sent a return card with my check and I got that back on Saturday, but I never got this letter you guys are speaking of, and they didn't cash my check yet. Should I be worried??

I'm getting kind of worried now. I mailed my letter out on Friday March 28th, I sent it certified so I know it was delievered on Tuesday April 1st. I have yet to receive the letter stating they received it and the check has not been cashed. :unsure:

I called them today (the phone number on the acceptance letter) and they confirmed they got my check. I haven't gotten a letter other than the acceptance one either, and they haven't cashed my check. I would do the same, it put my mind at least a little more at ease.

Hi Silverbullet1 - I called the admissions dept. and they confirmed receipt of my check. Maybe you can try that :)

Not sure if anyone still reads this thread, but for those of you who attended the Wall orientation last week...

Anyone have the website for the badges? The website I wrote down is not working...I'm thinking I might've wrote it down wrong :( or is everyone having the same issue?

Hi guys! I just got bumped from the wait list to the Jersey City cohort. Woo-hoo! I know this sounds off-base but I am from out of state. I wanted to throw some questions out to those that are more familiar with the program.

1. Does anyone know what the program completion percentage is? I know it's intense and a lot of hard work, but I just want to make sure that it is doable before I commit to attending.

2. What are the clinical sites for Jersey City? i.e. what would be the longest clinical commute?

3. Does anyone know if they are giving us a book list ahead of time? (i'd like to spend the summer reading ahead!)

4. Is anyone else still sitting on the wait list?

Thanks in advance for all of the info! I'm 90% sure that I'll accept my seat. Can't wait to meet you all on orientation day!!
