okay i just want to do is it in an lpn scope of practice to do admission assesments in nj and if an lpn is made to do this what should she do?

It is in the LPN's scope of practice to "gather data" for an admission assessment. In reality, the LPN is completing the admission assessment, which gets signed off by an RN.

My job is going to involve doing this, in addition to my other duties of LPN.
oh ok thats wht i thought it needs to be signed off by an RN

It is all semantics, really. Assessments really is data gathering. They play tricks with those words all the time when it suits them.
