I personally will choose Nipissing because I was a student as an undergrad for UofT and let me tell you it was not a good experience. They were more books than practical and I think as a nurse we should be more practical to differentiate yourself from other. That is my personal opinion but its up to you and how you like to learn . Good luck

I hear about that for regular programs at UofT but apparently, the marking for Nursing is different. From what I gathered last year some class averages were A- and B+ and because of the smaller class size the faculty knew students by their first names. Although UofT is more inclined towards theory and Nipissing is more practical, it is ranked #2 in 2018 for a reason which is why I am conflicted to choose between the two.

Go for what you feel comfortable maybe UofT nursing is structured differently.

Personally, I would go with UofT, just because it is top ranked in the world and it is extremely hard to get in.

“The Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto ranked the #2 nursing school in the world and is the top nursing school in Canada, according to QS World University Rankings by Subject, released February 28, 2018.”

I haven't heard anything from UofT yet but I'm ready to accept Nipissing. At least the placements are very good and I hate writing essays.

Yeaa...and plus I want to hopefull one day progress to becoming an NP and than I will definitely most likely got to UofT . At the end of the day it's not what school you go to it's the end result that matters. I worked with an NP from Sick kids Hospital and she did her studies all at Ryerson and she is one of the best NP's.

Same here. I wish to be an NP as well. I kind of want UofT to just reject me so this decision will be easier.
