Published

I haven't seen a forum for this year's cycle of NHSC LRP so I decided to start one. I am getting anxious. By this time last year alot of people had seen credit checks and some had received COIs. Has anyone heard anything?

Thank you!  I am a nurse midwife.  HPSA 17.  DTI 80%.  So maybe I'll be in the next round ??.   The other providers in my practice received it last year so I was super hopeful.   As time ticks on I'm worried I won't get it.

Received an email that I am a finalist this morning for NHSC! This is such a blessing!

I applied to the NHSC SUD loan repayment program, I saw I had a counter signature on July 21st but my status still says award finalist-under final review, has anyone else gotten a co-sign yet but no updates since?

I actually got the counter signature and got a notification that I have awarded the funding!! So happy and excited!

Today I was offered the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program award. I immediately accepted. I wonder how much longer the final review will take?

Wondering if we have to pay the full $50k when we get the money or do we way in payments? Does anyone know? I wonder because I don't want to put the full $50k on my student loan and then still have to pay monthly the remainder.

If it is the same as previous years.  Then you can pay a little or as much as you want at a time.   One of my co workers is sitting in the entire amount until the end of her contract just in case something happened.
