NHSC Loan Repayment 2023 Cycle

I haven't seen a forum for this year's cycle of NHSC LRP so I decided to start one. I am getting anxious. By this time last year alot of people had seen credit checks and some had received COIs. Has anyone heard anything?

I just received another check in request. That's my 3rd one. Are we supposed to submit documents or something? I'm afraid I'm doing something wrong.

I have only had the one check-in and it didn't not ask for any documents and shows completed on the website. You might call the help desk tomorrow and make sure there's nothing further they need from you.

I submitted a check in request days ago and got another today. At the bottom it says it may be used just as a way they collect information, like a data check point on awardees

I did one on October 5th and then again today.   It does seem weird to me.

Anyone trying to apply for next year's? I am trying to get in to start my app and it won't let me. It says apps are due Dec 7th though. Also -- which one did you all apply for and receive? I am in Iowa working at a critical access hospital and kind of confused about which one to apply for.

I sent them an email regarding the multiple check ins and got a notification that I was all set and funds would be submitted soon.

If you are trying for  the NHSC loan repayment program I doubt the application is up yet.   Last year it was February.

You might be looking at the wrong repayment program.  Go to Nurse Corp Loan Repayment Program application cycle opens near the first of the year.  It started in January last year.  They'll send you an email when it opens.

My contract date is July 30th and my disbursement just hit my bank account (the next day's deposits show the evening before at 9pm). Just posting to update those still waiting.

Sorry for the continual questions.  The reason I asked about funding is because under my Financial Information tab it states that my funds have been "processed".  I have not received funding so I am wondering if I should reach out. Does anyone else who has not received funding say that as well?

That's what mine says as well. I haven't received funding yet,  but I didn't get my counter signature until the last week of September. They said we should get it by the 90th day.
