NH nursing license question

Looking for some clarification. I'm a Massachusetts resident, currently have my MA nursing license. I'm applying for my NH license, a compact license state. On the application it, I have to attest to a  statement: "I do not declare New Hampshire as my primary state of residency. My permanent residence is a state not participating in the nurse licensure compact. My license will be valid in NH only."

Does this mean that because I am not living in NH, I will not have compact status? Any insight here? Thanks.
