Hi,
My last semester of nursing school starts in January, it will be Med Surg 2. My last semester was Pediatrics and Maternity in the spring. This semester I'm not enrolled due to financial obligations that I couldn't meet to register. I've devoted this time to work overtime every week to pay off what I owe by November so that I can register. Even with all this overtime I find myself with free time. Is there anything I can be doing when I have this free time to help me with my final semester in the spring.
If you just took this course or just graduated, what do you feel that you wish you knew going into the course. I just want to maximize my time in the best way possible in anticipation of my final semester in nursing school. I'm excited thinking about it. I've already applied to two scholarships that would go towards the spring semester. Thank you in advance.

I wish I would have known how hard it was. For some reason I kept trying to convince myself that it was going to be easier. I've passed 2 semesters. It has to be a little better now, right? Nope. Not even a little bit. If anything it's crazy harder. I've never studied so much in my life.
On the other hand, experience is on your side and you have better time management skills. It is doable. I pulled a 92 on my endocrine test and I was so happy I cried.
My advice is to give it your all and study your butt off. It can be done but it certainly takes a fair amount of effort. Don't let the senioritis get you. I see it with a lot of people this go around. I still have one semester left...leadership and OB. Push hard to the finish line. You can do it!!!
