what's next (pls help me in my licensure)

hello! i just passed nclex- rn here in NY. I graduated in the Philippines last 2005 and never worked as a nurse here in NY.

What is the next step to obtain my NY license? I've finished with CGFNS Credential Verification, already passed the Form 1 and fee and passed my NCLEX.

Do u have any idea about the child abuse and infection control courses? Do i have to attend in those courses?

What other forms do i need to submit?

From what I read before, you have to complete the child abuse and infection control courses before they could issue you your license. I actually took it on-line. Go to the NY BON website, they have a list of facilities that provide the two courses on-line if you cannot attend an actual lecture.

so after i accomplished those course, will the facilies send the certification that i attended the the courses to NY BON, then i could obtain my license?

You're welcome. You can check out www.nursingspectrum.com. They offer the two needed courses for NY BON's requirement. Total cost is $55. I took it before---thinking that I would be applying to NY but I applied somewhere else. I do not recall if they will automatically forward your results but you can check out the details on that site too. Hope this helps.
