Newman University CRNA 2023

Hi everyone, just wanted to see if anyone has applied to Newman for the 2023 start date out there. Has anyone heard back about interviews yet?

It is reasonably common for schools to send out interview invites in waves these days, especially if they organize you into either zoom or in-person based on how close you live to the school. But I haven't heart anything either and I'm stressed too, LOL

Try not to stress guys, I will bet they received a lot of applicants and are working through them. I have too noticed programs sending interviews out in waves as well, everyone stay positive!

I’m grasping at straw here but maybe it’s alphabetical!?

I was told by a former student that the head of program sends the invites out individually and himself. So sometimes it’s a trickle affect. And then if someone turns down an interview because they committed else where, they go on to the next eligible candidates.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for the decisions to be made after your interview?

Ah man. I have been lurking ? this thread and was less stressed knowing everyone else hadn't heard anything yet now I'm like... ?

I did my shadow hours at the clinical site in Oklahoma City (McBride Orthopedic) and the Newman students there love it. I am hoping I get the Oklahoma clinical sites if accepted!

What did they specifically like about it?

Is your interview in-person or via zoom? Mine is zoom, just curious if they all are..
