Hi everyone, just wanted to see if anyone has applied to Newman for the 2023 start date out there. Has anyone heard back about interviews yet?
Hello! I just got accepted for the upcoming school year! I was wondering if anyone could help me what the future schedule with clinical will look like? I got into the OKC cohort and will be moving to Kansas in the fall but contemplating selling my house vs just renting it out. When clinical starts will I stay in OKC or do I still come to campus more than one or two days a week?

Hi Jennifer, congratulations on your acceptance. That's really exciting! So you probably can tell that you won't be starting clinical until the end of your first year, and if you are an OKC site then all of your clinicals will be in OK and not Kansas, its vice versa for the Wichita cohort. As my cohort does not start clinical until May of next year and some of the curriculum has been adjusted for the DNAP, I can say that by looking at the schedule it looks like when we begin clinical, we will still have class in Wichita. So you will need a place to stay in OK for when you're at clinical through the week and then a place to stay potentially for class in Wichita. (I do not know how many days of clinical vs classroom days there are yet as far as planning out how many days you will spend in each location).
I hope that helps answer your question. I myself am not quite in the clinical stage, so we have not heard much about it yet.

Hey I'm currently in the program, yes we did get a new director and assistant director. I am not sure if they have updated the website yet or not on the staff changes.
