If you do not mind working in Durham....part of the "triangle area" which includes the towns Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill
I think Durham Regional is still placing new grads into their GEMS program......they were at our school for a luncheon in december and they are planning on coming back before we graduate.......I guess this means they still have openings?

What area in NC are you looking for a job. If you intrested in the Raleigh area the take Wake Med and Rex off your list. They are not hiring new Grads at this time. I applied to Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield NC and Betsy Johnston Hospital in Dunn and were offered positions there. They are both 45-50 minutes from Raleigh. Also try Duke hospital, UNC, Durham Regional. Google Hospital in NC and start applying to them all. Good Luck on your search.
Oh, I am a new grad and got hired at Wakemed but only because I knew someone and they were willing to give me a chance.
hi many thanks your suggestions are great help for a start. Goid Bless us all:-)

If you are interested in WakeMed, please go check the job listings at Wakemed.org. There is ONE new grad position that has been posted. You have to make your application online. Good luck!

Wake is not accepting new grad applications until the fall. If you click on that new grad posting, it will tell you that they had an overwhelming amount of applicants appying and that they are not accepting anymore applications until Aug 2009 for Dec Grads.
Thank you, NC Girl, for the correction. I saw the listing but obviously did not read it! Sorry!
