Yes l think so too - i have asked brian if we can include the nz's here - that is why l have started this thread wanted input from everyone - we all need to agree to this move and to be one together. We have so much tradition to share in so many way (we do have our diffeences that we can talk about as well ie sheep, rugby cricket etc)
Hello Tookie,
I think it's a good idea because we are pretty similar...let's put us all in together...I have lots of rellies in Oz...though I guess it's hard to find one of us that doesn't. I graduated from Curtin...so that should make me sort of Australian !
PS. Also think Kim and Kath is hilarious...the series is being repeated right now because it is so popular...is it because we are so similar culturally? Or is is Ocker bashing
by some of my less culturally sensitive compatriots?
Whatever our differences, we also have lots in common...so why not have a common forum..great idea, Ziggy.
Waht should we call ourselves - - need more input from aussies and NZ's
I am please that you all agree (well so far) that this should be a forum for both New Zealand and Australians - yes we do have so much in common - not just sporting and war history etc
And yes Grace l think you are quite right about the trademark name of the ANZAC's - so we would have to come up with something else that it could be called -
Let's have some suggestions.

Hey, just an idea, but how about NANZ (Nurses from Australia and New Zealand)? I don't think there's a problem with ANZAC, as it is technically just an endearing title, and no-one owns the copyright, but why not have our own name anyway - believe me, there's definately something special about Kiwi and Aussie nurses!!

At the moment we have an Australian forum -
would you like a seperate thread or have an incorporated into an ANZAC type thread - l think becaause we are btoh small countries with in many ways similar interests and history it could be good l have asked Brian to think about this - however l beleive that we as Australians and NEw Zealanders should put our opinions forward - we do do this well generallly.
