New York University (NYU) Non-Accelerated/ABSN Fall 2022

Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for the fall 2022 deadline for NYU's ABSN non-accelerated and accelerated pathway yet soo I decided too start one so we can all stress out together in these next few months of applying

I belive if you applied before march 1st you're likely to know early April.

Hello. Anyone hear anything yet? I also applied before March 1st and haven't heard an update.

I think it’s still too soon maybe towards the end of March

I also applied before march 1st and I emailed them and they are saying towards the end of April into June

hey yall, if helpful - I'm in the cohort exactly one year prior to this (started fall 2021, graduating this fall!) - I applied the last possible day, April 1, 2021 I think? I got my acceptance 5/17/21. It came in waves for us with people getting notified weekly I think and mine came on a Monday. I don't know if that's the case anymore but expect them send out batched acceptances with small waiting periods in between, and maybe up to 6-7 batches go out. I believe they wait to see who enrolls and who they will notify next. I was not the first group to be accepted but I wasn't the last, I think 2-3 more groups were notified after the May 17th group. It didn't seem to matter when we applied in terms of when we got notified, since I think they just look at everyone's apps together regardless? Could be wrong but it seemed to be like that. Everyone seemed to have an equal shot, since I finished my app literally hours before the deadline but got in fairly fast. Hope that helps! And best of luck to you all!!

 so stressful because the other school I got into begins May 26th. Obviously NYU is my first choice but if I don’t hear back within enough time I am going to have to start the other program based on the fact that if I decline the other program, I may not get accepted into NYU and then be stuck with no where to go! Anyone else having this issue??

Yess me too I’m struggling with sorting out these application cycles and entrance exams if I don’t get into nyu I’m stuck waiting for new applications to open 

Definately not alone with anxiousness
