New York University (NYU) ABSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone! 
I haven't seen a forum for NYU's Fall 2023 ABSN program, and decided to start one. Please feel free to add any information related to the program, application process, any tips, stats, words of encouragement for those accepted into the program, etc. All the best to everyone. I hope everyone's new year is off to an amazing start! ?

But I noticed that unofficial transcripts that were listed (and entered by me) at the bottom of my portal page could no longer be viewed. You needed to enter your pre-reqs, and fill out your FAFSA if you desire financial aid. Did you send in your official transcript(s) with Parchment? That's something you must do. 

I sent my docs to docs email and they uploaded.

I think you may have to wait. That's how my portal looked before I received my acceptance letter.

Anyone know whats the total price tag figure for the 15 month ABSN program? Without any finaid, no books, no transportation. Just purely tuition cost?

I'm attending RN and I would say that it's around 120K if you get no aid and no scholarship

Do you know whats the amount they give for academic scholarship for SAP- satisfactory academic progress? Thanks.

I think an important thing to keep in mind is that NYU is def very expensive, but it's a private university that's known for being really expensive. With that being said, if you choose to do nursing in NYC, any loans taken out for NYU can be paid back in a reasonable amount of time. Regarding scholarships, I don't think everyone gets a nursing scholarship included in their financial aid package for the school, but after that, any scholarship opportunities each semester-- you will need to apply to. I do not think NYU gives accelerated students scholarships for academic merit, unless you apply to them and get it.

No problem! I don't mind answering any questions you guys have and for the people who eventually decide to commit to NYU and create a group chat and whatnot, I don't mind answering any q's you guys have either! I love being an unofficial mentor
