New York University (NYU) ABSN Fall 2023

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone!
I haven't seen a forum for NYU's Fall 2023 ABSN program, and decided to start one. Please feel free to add any information related to the program, application process, any tips, stats, words of encouragement for those accepted into the program, etc. All the best to everyone. I hope everyone's new year is off to an amazing start! ?

I think someone asked what other nursing schools we got into or are waiting for. I'm happy to share mine. So far I got into:

-LIU Brooklyn

- Pace University

-CUNY City Tech

-CUNY York College

-Seton Hall University in NJ.

Ofc I'm still waiting on NYU and Iona University.

Specializes in EMT.

Dang that's impressive! I feel like if you got into all those schools, it's only a matter of time until your get your acceptance into NYU. I only applied to Pace and NYU and got into both, and I think that was the case for someone else on this thread. So if that trend continues, then you'll probably get into NYU

Hey, that was the case for me as well. I got into both Pace and NYU. May I ask which school you're choosing and why?

Does anyone know any other nursing program that you can apply when missing a prerequisite? I am only missing one and I completed my Bachelors' over a year ago. I only applied to NYU because I felt that was my only option. I did not receive an acceptance yet to NYU but I am worried because of the cost

So I got into NYU, PACE, WAGNER. I declined PACE since it is only 11 months. I paid my deposit for WAGNER, since I wasnt sure if  I would get into NYU.

I am still debating  if I should choose NYU or Wagner. I would be very happy to get some advice on this.

As an International student, I don't get any financial aid. So NYU is 120K vs Wagner is 80k.

Commute to Wagner is only 15-20 minutes by car VS NYU is 1.5 hours maybe longer.

I have until this Monday to let NYU know regarding my decision.

NYU. Because I believe NYU can provide more opportunities for me upon graduation. And the prestige I guess. And I've been reading some questionable things about Pace's organization

Hey guys,

Is there a facebook group for people attending the ABSN program in the fall?

no it's not. They only have a generic nursing program and a RN-to-BS program. Hope that answers your question ?
