Updated:   Published

Hi everyone!
I haven't seen a forum for NYU's Fall 2023 ABSN program, and decided to start one. Please feel free to add any information related to the program, application process, any tips, stats, words of encouragement for those accepted into the program, etc. All the best to everyone. I hope everyone's new year is off to an amazing start! ?

I just looked at both sets of pre-requisite requirements for each school. They seem comparable. However, you may want to check with Admissions. Admissions saw my name come up quite a few times in regards to verifying course satisfaction requirements. LOL I just had to be certain.

Most times, they were good with getting back to me in a timely manner.

You can e-mail them at : [email protected] . I would just check to be sure.

Hey guys,

got accepted today! I was committed to another school but after consideration decided to go w NYU instead. I completed my FAFSA before my acceptance. My package said the tuition was 61k not including additional fees and housing etc. hope that helps because some people are curious. I'm not sure if that's my personal tuition or everyone had that same one. On Allnurses we r only allow to share facebook group links. If there hasn't been one made I can make one for us and share the link with everyone so we can stay in touch ?

my GPA is 3.6 and science was mainly Bs and a few As. I have 2 years of medical experience. I think my essay and strong LOR really pulled through considering a lot of replies here have impressive stats. Look forward to meeting everyone!

I remember it being SUPER early. Only a couple days after the application opened I submitted it. I uploaded updates transcripts and recommendations after submission. I believe it was still September.

Thanks for getting back to me! Did they mention how many people were going to be in fall 2023's cohort?

Hey guys! I was just wondering for those that got accepted, did you notice any change to your checklist before receiving your acceptance?

Hi! Personally, I noticed a small change, but not to my checklist. An unofficial transcript uploaded by me (on the bottom of my application portal) could no longer be viewed. This indicated to me that my application may have been under review. Other than that, from what I saw, everything stayed the same. I checked about an hour before receiving my acceptance letter. So I'm not sure if it could have disappeared within that time.

Ah I see. Thanks for letting me know!

Hi cindy, isn't NYU a much more expensive school? What was the deciding factor for choosing NYU over PACE? Thanks and congrats!

disregard what I said above - totally misread the thread

Hey! Did anyone update their portal with a midterm report? I wonder if this would help my chances of getting accepted of I have good grades?

Anyone have any news today?
