New York University (NYU) ABSN fall 2019

It's a little early but I figured I would start this thread as we all begin to get our applications in!

Anyone have any insight as to how long it took for transcripts to be verified or whatever once received in the Common App? Hopefully not too long, I sent both to the Common App and electronically to NYU just in case haha.

Hi! I submitted my application at the beginning of Feb and also have a degree in Psych! It took about a week for all of my transcripts to get verified (I also sent them to NYU directly just to be safe). Good luck everyone!

I only submitted through the common app, and I called the following day to make sure they received it, then after the call it was checked off on my portal

I only submitted my official transcripts through mail to NYU? How do you verify them through the Common App and do I need to do that in addition to submitting official transcripts via mail to NYU?

Also, has anyone attended an info session at NYU Meyers or planning on attending an upcoming session? ?

when you submit your application it should be verified automatically

I only submitted through NYU and not common app. Mine were verified so you should be fine too!

Okay, great thanks!!! I can see that my transcripts have not arrived to NYU yet so that's probably why it's still marked as "unverified" when I review my application and I'm sure it will update when they arrive.

Just got a little nervous when I was reading about electronic verification through the Common App haha.

Hey everyone! I repeated Statistics course which I took 5 years ago. I got a C+ then and now made an A. Should I put both statistics grade in transcript entry or the most recent/better one. Also should we put down all courses for transcript entry or just the pre-requisites.

Yea I wanted to know if we should add all classes we have ever taken or is it only the pre requisites should be added ?

If I remember correctly, I tried only doing prereqs but it wouldn’t let me continue on in the common app until i added all of them.

Does anyone know when people typically start hearing back? I have heard mixed reviews but wanted to see if anyone knew for sure.

According to last years thread, the 2018 cohort heard back April 5th
