i am feeling overwhelming with the studying of the drugs that columbia wanted us to know. i understand knowing the side effects are important. but do they really ask you about drug interaction and the normal amount of dosage for the drug???

I have just taken the psychotropic medication administration and it is hard and did not pass. Recruiters do not pass out study guides before the exam and at the end there is no categories to review once you completed the test. I studied the psychotropic medication sections in the recommended textbook but there were a lot of medications that was not covered in the section text book. I am completely stressed out and was wondering if anyone has the psychotropic medication administration study guide. I will treat you to coffee..please! It is very appreciated. Thank you very much. I took the pharm exam today at the Columbia campus and passed on the first try. I am not a new grad but I did take a year off from work. I'd say it was a moderate level of difficulty. I aced the math portion but did not know some of the drug examples or the correct side effects. I'd say it was pretty detailed. I studied the " Straight A's Nursing Pharm book" by Lippincott so I would definitely recommend it.

Hey everyone, I have been accepted a position at NYP-Columbia in the PICU. I am suppose to start aug 6th but I am really nervous about the pharmacology exam. I take it in a week and wanted to know if anyone could help me out and pass along the study guide. Also any helpful hints would be wonderful.

For those of you who have already taken it, when you dont pass the first time was the exam the same second time around? Did the print out they gave you after your first attempt help you study for the second time?

Please help me out someone. I am really nervous and need to pass.
