hello everyone:

i have a question concerning admissions to hunter's school of nursing (c.u.n.y). i recently graduated with my adn degree. i also passed the nclex-rn. i want to apply to hunters rn pathway program. the transfer application says that i need to send them my h.s. transcript with the application. i only thought this was true for brand new freshmans.

if i already have my associates why the heck do they need my h.s. transcript???? :uhoh3: :uhoh21:

thanks for the reply's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ari rn,

on the topic of school i have a slightly different bit of advice. especially since the school you would like to enter is hunter/bellevue. you must be aware how competitive it is to get in...prepare yourself to jump through hoops and to take on all manner of contortions...and hope you will be in the top group to be accepted...you will need to demonstrate beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are an excellent student with a very high gpa. with your current level of education i am not surprised they are requesting your hs record. they have so many applicants they must use everything possible to eliminate some because they simply don't have space for everyone. don't fight it...be strong...do whatever they ask and never, never get less than an a in any class ever again.... (that goal will take longer to attain but you'll get to that bsn. if not at hunter, then somewhere else...look around while you are waiting...don't think it is just you...) and, as always, good luck.
