Will anyone be applying to Hunter's nursing program for the fall of 2006 semester. I heard that it is very competitive. I am done with most of my pre-reqs and have a 3.4 GPA. I know we have to take the NLN exam. Basically, I was wondering if a 3.4 is considered a strong candidate or if it was a little low. Any help would be appreciated.

I hear Hunter's nursing program is one of the hardest CUNY program to get in. Anyway, good luck!

I think you have a fair chance with your GPA, I certainly wouldn't worry. I would say you are average. People have been known to get in with less. Just so you know, if your grades come from other places, they might be readjusted - it's a strange system. 50% as you prolly already know, depends on your NLN. Study NLN previous exams, and practice your math - time is a factor - the faster you can do your calculations, the better.

Also, try to get in your prequisites before you start - as many as you can. Good luck. Feel free to contact me if you have questions.
