The curriculum hasn't changed much since 2004 when I started working with the college. Students who are directly admitted to Nursing take A&P 1 & 2 as I stated earlier.

Are you still at Le Moyne? Have you enjoyed your experience there?

That is not the information I was given when I applied and was admitted in 2008/2009. I was told (and shown on the curriculum sheet) that first year nursing students took gen bio.

Yes, I am still at Le Moyne. I absolutely love it, and still think that it's better than DYC for many reasons, but especially (mostly) because of the much higher NCLEX pass rate.

But...to each their own.

i just got back from orientation at d'youville...

just to settle any discrepancies, freshmen start with the A&P sequence their first year. i'm assuming you start with gen bio if you didn't meet pre-req requirements in high school or something? not sure....

Hi,

I just got accepted to D'youville for spring 2010. Can you tell me a little bit about your experience(if your attending there) and how difficult is the program? Thanks.

I just applied to D'Youville, and not sure if it is the right one for me, but a place to start. I am Canadian, but live close. Had my LPN in Fl but let it expire :(. need to get my RN, as inexpensively as I can, or with help, (if avail) willing to do my AS first , and then hopefully work in U.S. ( I know it cant come here) with that while getting the rest, if that is doable. I know immigration, and how complicated all of that is, so not sure that will all work. I carried around Excelsior (was Regents) packet around for years, as this has been my dream that long. Now, kids grown, but NEED it for working ASAP. Currently RPN in Canada, but want and need MORE ! So many little issues for me in this path, but there must be a way. Any help or suggestions will be gratefully accepted.... :)
