I loved Microbiology, so don't worry. Of course everyone is different, but if you can handle Anatomy, Microbiology will be a piece of cake. It's actually similar to General Biology, but much simpler and more interesting. You will work a lot with Microscopes and Bacteria. It's such a fun class, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Hi, I just got accepted to D'youville for spring 2010. Can you tell me a little bit about your experience(if your attending there) and how difficult is the program? Thanks.
Armytruck, Thanks for the advice and taking time to reply to my message. All your suggestions were very helpful. I'm afraid that my gpa would be a problem for me to get into the nursing program because i've noticed that a lot of people who get accepted have a 3.6-4.0 gpa and my cumulative gpa is a 3.2. What do you think?
Before I ask a question let me introduce myself, after all I am new. My name is Sumaya and I'm going to be entering my third year in college. I recently changed my major(social work) to nursing. The school that I'm interested is the University of Minnesota, and I was informed that the BSN program is very competitive. I'm not confident because I don't have any experience in the medical field and not a lot of people get accepted to the program. For example, Last year 400 students applied and only a 100 and something got accepted. I want to hear from people that attend the University of Minnesota nursing program so that I can have an idea of what to expect. I hope I made sense. Thanks!
