U.S.A. New York

Hello, I was just accepted into the Concordia College 15 month accelerated BSN program in Bronxville, NY for Fall 2009. I just found out yesterday and I'm looking for any students who were accepted as well? Also, anyone who graduated from the program last year who can give some feedback? I know this program is new and just began last fall so I'd like to hear some information on how the program is.

Is Concordia College still accepting application for fall for the 15 months accelerated program? plz let me ASAP. Thanx

From my understanding they are full for Fall 2009 but are accepting applications for Fall 2010. You can check for all the details on their website @ concordia-ny.edu

those of you planning to go to Concordia's accelerated program, did you have to take out all loans? I am working on my application for the fall and I was just wondering how people are paying for it because I didn't see anything about scholarships.

Hi All,

I applied to Concordia for the fall 2010, just curious to know for those of you who are in the program what you think of it so far? how is the school itself as well as faculty? are they helpful? There aren't too many accelerated nursing programs and the ones that i have come across have bad reviews from current students. Any light you can shed will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks and best of luck!

All the best,

Jessica

hello, I am still waiting for the interview. what kind of interview do they conduct could you please tell me. I applied for 2010 fall.

Blue_River,

If you look up "Concordia Fall 2010" there is a thread going on from people that have already been accepted or already had interviews for the fall that kind of described their interview experiences. i had a phone interview because i live very far and wouldn't have been able to make it there in the time frame they gave me. but most of us agreed that the interview was very laid back and consisted of the dean talking more than we did during the interview lol.

Thanks. I hope they will call me soon. I also live in texas. They will be conducting phone interview as far as I know. I have also applied at Stony Brook.

Any idea about their housing?

Do you have to take out all loans? I was just interviewed, haven't heard back yet. Just wondering how people are paying their tution? Do they have any scholarships?

Hi,

I havent even heard back from them. I did sent my application close to the deadline-so not exactly sure where i stand. When did you apply? how did the interview go? You don't have to take out a loan but its def. an option =)

i think the other option is paying it yourself... they told me about a payment plan they have. that's not possible for me lol.

It was over the phone since I live in Texas. Interview went well. Basically, it was same as job interview.
