Hi guys, I applied for the nursing program at City tech for the Fall 2016 semester. Did anyone recieve their results yet?

You should rcv it by the 2nd/3rd week of June via postal mail as orientation is on june 27th.

Unfortunately they don't email you.

Good luck.

How are your scores?

I just got rejected with a 3.4 pre req GPA, 3.5 reg GPA and a 82 on the TEAS.... I feel like I wasted my time at school once again, and I give up. Did any of you get accepted? What were your scores? The math killed my GPA with a B-, but I received 100 in the math portion of the TEAS, and I thought that would make up for it.....ugh. Even got my A in a&p

I just got my acceptance letter today in the mail and an email as well.

Congrats! what were your scores like? I think my old school transcript just looked too terrible.

Thank you!

I got A's for psychology, english, and MAT 1375 and an A- for A&P

I scored an 80 on the TEAS

I dont understand why you got rejected.. you have a really good TEAS score

I think they mainly focus on the pre req grades and the TEAS score. Im not sure if they focus on the overall GPA.

Thank you!

I went today, they said they didn't have to go below a 3.5 gpa this term because the applicants gpa was strong. Earlier this year i was told the teas is more important, guess not.

Woww, This program is getting crazy competitive. Also, its funny how they wanna weigh it b/w the Teas & GPA b/c u just have to aim as high as you can on both regardless. Don't give up on your dream of becoming a nurse! I would try to take classes to boost my GPA. Like A&P 2 & Mat 1375 (Pass w/ A's) You already have a great teas score it's good for a yr. I barely passed mine w/ a 72 u smart :-)
