Hi to all :)!
well I have two questions that I really hope somebody can help me with.
1st) do you have to renew your New York RN license? And if you do, how long will it be valid? I know that NY provides an online renewal license system, and I think that will be helpful if Nursing License needs to be renewed.
2nd) Does NY Board of Nursing provides a specific Request Form for a License Verification for a Visa Screen c/o CGFNS? I can't seem to find any info. Will I just make a letter and send it to the Board with the License Verification form of Visa Screen?
A little help here please and thank you in advance. :loveya::redpinkhe

All you need to use is the form in the VSC hand book. All licenses have to be renewed and some states it is 2 years and others it is 4 years, usually states on the license. Think NY was 4 years

NY license validity is for 3 years. You have to renew your license 6 months prior to xpiration. Your expiration date will be adjusted to your bdate. However, I am not sure about CEUs for renewal. you may contact their customer service. And I believe this information is included in their packet upon the receipt of your license.
thank you so much to both of you

Does that mean your bday after the expiration date, or before? For example, my license expires 10/2009, and my bday is in may. So does that mean my new expiration date is 5/2009 or 5/2010?
Thanks for the help!
