New SFSU/CSM ABSN Spring 2019

Is anyone applying for this? It's the replacement for the SFSU/Sequoia program. At CSM instead of Canada. 1 year instead of 2. Must have a previous Bachelor's degree since it's an ABSN now. I don't see a thread for it yet...

Really want to apply, but afraid my science prereqs might be expired.

I definitely read those exact stats about the BSN program somewhere, I forgot lol

@doglover.28 Here are my stats

Pre-req GPA: 3.8

Last 60 units GPA: ~3.0

TEAS: 90.7

6,000 hours experience as an EMT

3,000 hours experience as an ER Tech

200 hours volunteer with my local school district

I know my undergrad GPA is terrible and it is weighing me down big time. I'm hoping my pre reqs, TEAS, and work experience can make up for it!

What are your guys' stats?

My last 60 units: 3.56

pre-req gpa is 3.53

still need to take my teas next week

i definitely think you have a good chance with all that work experience hours!

I'm applying to this program too! ?

Does anyone know how important the instructor evaluations in the Program Materials section of the CalStateApply application are? Are they even required? I'm wondering how much they will look at my instructor evaluations compared to my prereq GPA and TEAS score.

I don't think it's a requirement since it doesn't have an asterisk. I didn't ask my instructor for it.

I also got my SFSU ID, but I don't see any To Do List to ask for official transcript. Does anyone submit their transcript to SFSU graduate admission?

I called them about a week ago and asked about transcripts and they told me that we only submit official transcripts to SFSU if we get accepted and they ask for them. But we do have to submit official transcripts to NursingCAS and also upload our unofficial transcripts to the CalStateApply application.

Is anyone else worried about their transcripts not being processed in time for nursingcas? My school just mailed it out yesterday ? I didn't realize they wanted them 4 weeks before submitting our app.

When I order transcripts, I usually get the email in the next two days from NursingCAS saying that they received it! Still 5 days left lol ?. Unless did you pay 100 dollars for the automatic transcript entry?

One of my schools send it electronically, and NursingCAS received and processed within 2 days. I also took classes from CCSF, and they mailed out the transcript last Tuesday, but I haven't heard anything from NursingCAS. I'm kinda worried too. I can't submit my application until all the transcripts arrived.

@pzsnow same here, my electronic transcripts were processed within 1-2 days. I'm mostly worried for my transcripts that were mailed out, one mailed out last tuesday, one mailed on yesterday...oy, wishing for the best!
