Is anyone applying for this? It's the replacement for the SFSU/Sequoia program. At CSM instead of Canada. 1 year instead of 2. Must have a previous Bachelor's degree since it's an ABSN now. I don't see a thread for it yet...
Really want to apply, but afraid my science prereqs might be expired.
Hey everyone, I submitted my calstate application a little more than one week ago and am waiting for the sf state id so I can turn in my nursing cas app. If anyone has any updates on getting their school ID number, let us know ?
If you take the paper version of the teas test, you won't get your score processed in time since it takes a couple of business days. If you take the computer version of the teas test, I think it should be fine? Since you get your score immediately after.
Does anyone know if this program has interviews and if yes, when would they be?
I would of course double check with both ATI and sfsu to make sure the March 7 date is fine, you might be cutting a little too close for comfort.
Icouldn't seem to find anything about interviews, but maybe it's expected because they have interviews for their regular BSN program.
As for their start date, I'm not too sure when exactly, but it does say summer term 2019 in their website, so maybe June.
Regarding the student ID from the school:
It usually takes a few weeks (approximately at least 2 weeks or more) for students to receive their student ID, so if you’d like to submit your NursingCAS application without the student ID, you can simply input ‘999999999’ on the ID box. Whenever you do receive it, it will be updated automatically.
Hi Juls28, I am in the same boat regarding the TEAS test.
From the school, we don't have to upload the results for Cal State Apply just upload to Nursing Cas. It should also be sent electronically to the school from ATI.
Per ATI phone call, send to school via the ATI TEAS website (online store - transcript) or if you are taking your test at a PSI location, it will be done automatically. If you are sending it yourself - ATI -> online store -> Electronic Transcript. It will be sent to the school same day immediately. So if you are taking your test on the 7th, you can send it to the school yourself using the ATI site on the 7th. From my understanding Sunnyvale is not a PSI location, it is through another company.
Hope that helps.
