Hello,
I graduated school 3 years ago and just passed NCLEX. I've been applying to all kinds of hospitals and every time I hear "you need at least 1 or 2 years experience", like how would I get experience if no one will hire me. Pls where are the easiest places to get jobs for nurses who has been out of school for awhile.

I would look at border towns since you happen to be in Texas. Apply at SNFs (and everywhere else), too. As an "old new grad", you're not going to be super-desirable. Look at the places most people don't want to be to get your foot in the door. A refresher course is often suggested in cases like yours, as well.

You are now what is called "an old new grad". You will have a hard time competing with new grads who are fresh out of school and up to date on the latest evidence based practices. You will have better luck outside of acute care, outside of major metroplex areas and after you take a refresher course.

I think that you should start looking for non hospital jobs for experience .
