new passer: wants to get/apply for cert of good moral character from prc..help!!

hi im new here...

Happy holidays ... is there anyone here who tried to get/apply for certification of good moral character from PRC?since im a new passer june 2008 and i still dont have my license card I was thinking if I can secure the license no by applying for good moral cert cos i really need it badly for my nclex requirements.... If you have your cert now does it contain your license no.?if so whats the requirements for the certification. I really appreciate any help . Thanks a lot.:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe

I didn't know that we can get a certificate of good moral in prc. but we can get one from our schools. prc has an information cente r inside,near the entrance gate, inquire them about that certificate Not from the people outside, they are fixers. transaction must be done inside prc.

I also had the same problem with you. I was stuck with Vermonts requirement for Verification of License. I really need the license so that I could sit for NCLEX.

Anyone who has an idea of the issuance date?

i think what they will give you is certificate of good standing but you have to have your license first coz the form you will be needing to request for it requires your registration number and date of registration which will be found on your license. but you could go there and ask them just to be sure.

There is no state in the US that requires a Certificate of good moral character, that is not going to meet the requirements for the licensure requirement for any state that I am aware of.

Not sure what the rush is for taking the NCLEX, you are looking at a wait of years before you will have a chance at a visa. Suggest that you wait until you actually get your license issued with the license number on it before doing anything else.
