New Nursing Student!

Hi! I just wanted to share my excitement. I just got my acceptance letter today for Fall 2011 ! I will be attending CMMC College of Nursing and Health Professions in Lewiston, Maine. I am so thrilled! It is definitely a HUGE competition out there just to get in, and I feel extremely grateful. I know that the challenge has just begun, but I could not be more happy to know that I will be a nurse in two years! Yay!

Congratulations! I know how you are currently feeling, as I too was accepted to a nursing program this fall in the Seattle area. Wish you the best! (Don't you feel like screaming your acceptance from the top of a mountain? I know I did when I found out!) Such a great feeling : ):heartbeat:yeah:

That's great, congrats!!! I am waiting to hear from CMMC as well! They say my letter should arrive today or tomorrow :D Do you live in the Lewiston area? If I get in I am worried about the 1.5 hour commute, do any of you have that problem? CONGRATS AGAIN YOU WILL DO GREAT!

I hope you get it ! I am actually in the waterville area so it takes me about an hour to get to lewiston. It is not something that I generally care about though because out of all schools in Maine, they were my first choice because of the unique way of doing things and their history. Let me know if you got in!!

Yes, I got my letter and I am in! :D Now I just have to decide! I would feel like a fool not to go, but with the possibility of clinicals being so far away, the gas $$, etc...I have a lot of thinking to do..I am just thrilled to be accepted :up:
