New Nurse After 7 Years of Attempting NCLEX

Hi, I need a little advice on where to start my new journey. I currently passed my RN NCLEX after finishing nursing school 7 years ago. I’ve been out of school and working as a medical receptionist and finally decided to take my boards again. With that being said I passed and now am currently a registered nurse BUT I don’t know where to begin. I’m in Texas and applied at several places on indeed. I’m getting a lot of responses from home health agencies and I got a residency program offer for 16 weeks working/ training with a preceptor on a Intermediate care unit as well. Normally a new RN is fresh with skills from school but I had such a big break that I don’t feel confident and not sure where to start. The home health reassured me they will put me with low acuity patients and train me. Please guys any advice will help. Thank you.

Where did you test for NCLEX since its been so long since you graduated? I am looking for a state that will allow me to test, its been 4 years since graduating and Texas won't let me.
