Hello,Is it necessary to buy all the recommended text books for each course? Also do we get any ppts or recorded lectures from the instructors?
If the books are listed for your class then yes you should get them. However, it's not always necessary to buy them brand new. You can often buy older versions on Amazon or rent them from Barnes & Noble or Bookrenter. Occasionally you'll run into a situation where the new version has different sections or page numbers which can make things a little difficult but it's not often. If that happens I'll run and buy the newer book. You won't know what ppts or pdfs are offered until the class is open but almost every class I've done has had some sort of ppt, pdf or online section.
