Yes - the passing standard is evaluated for possible changes every three years and it will be adjusted to reflect the fact that today's nurses are seeing patients who are more acutely ill than in years past, so the level of preparation must increase accordingly.

it was released in ncsbn.org that effective apr 07 they are raising the passing standard of nclex, it explains something abt increasing the logistic scale, which i totally do not understand. i checked the new test plan but it seems that nothing has been changed, looks to me that it is still on the same format, from what i understand, the changes will be made on the scores not on the test framework itself, is there anyone here who can enlighten me on this one? thanks!
