Hi everyone. am a new member. i see this great, b/c i can more info here. well am a guy and pursueing to be a nurse. I really need information on the career. Do RN's have to work overtime on Mandatory basis? could they have fun or have to be on the go all time. Are there Jobs out there? please send me more info. about the career. thanks and God bless

Yes, there are jobs. Overtime: depends on the facility, some have mandatory overtime, some do not. Yes, we have lots of fun, both at work and at home!

No mandatory overtime - I wouldn't work anywhere that mandated me to stay.

Yes, we have fun. At home more than at work though. ;)

Welcome to allnurses. Where I work there is no mandatory overtime allowed.
