New member, NCLEX success!

Published

Hey everyone! I found this forum just a week before I sat for my NCLEX RN. I found a lot of good information here and appreciated the stories, study tips and preparation strategies!

I'm thrilled to have passed my NCLEX in 75 questions. I went into the exam completely relaxed, and I feel that was very beneficial in keeping my head clear! I read the questions twice to make sure I knew what it was asking before reading the answers. I had been incredibly anxious (I was dreaming about failing NCLEX for a week! ) until the day before the exam when calm settled in.

I remember reading someone suggesting when you start getting worked up to do some deep breathing. When the test was loading I felt butterflies starting up so I took some deep breaths and that settled down the nerves and cleared my mind.

Walk in with confidence that you're going to own the exam! Good luck everyone! I'm so excited to start my career as an RN in just a few weeks!

Did the PVT work on your case?

The PVT was accurate for me, and so far all of my classmates who have taken it. As long as the test says it was delivered successfully and the pop up starts with "our records indicate..." I've heard it's pretty accurate. I couldn't fully trust it until my license was updated to active though!
