new jersey no longer requires the cgfns exam, for initial licensure or endorsement.
you will need to get a ces, in place of that requirement. same as what illinois did.
cgfns processes the ces. www.cgfns.org.
stickadora, if your going to apply a license in NJ, they need TOEFL.you can apply for visa screen if you already have cgfns EXAM (not the CES) and/ or NCLEX plus the english exam (IELTS or TOEFL+TSE, or TOEFL iBT).
Hi!
My CES Report is on the process
and i understand i must have take
the TOEFL before applying for
NJ BON Registration packet right?
I just want to ask, where will i get
the A.T.T. from? Pearson Veu? or
NJ BON? I understand they have a
fee for Registration packet for NJ BON
but do i need to pay for a certain fee
for ATT? and after applying for ATT
thats the only time i will apply for
NCLEX Testing right? at Pearsons Veu?
Thank you!

For the states that do have a language requirement, it is normally needed to be submitted before they will even grant permission to sit for the exam.Remember that approval to sit for NCLEX is the last step of the licensure process, and it means that all requirements need to be completed prior to then.
really? this information is really helpful. coz NCLEX is frequently mistaken here in the philippines especially for the new graduates planning to take up al the foreign exams. they planned to take the nclex first before anything else. and they some here are not so aware regarding the visa screen which will be highly needed for us in order to work abroad.
however, i would like to ask if i can already process IMMIGRATION VISA rather than having the WORKING VISA first..is that possible?and in case i'll be granted with the immigrant visa, does it mean that i can work freely in the country? thank you very much. i hope i can get updates about this matter.

[color=dimgray]there is only one visa that is available to you, there is no working visa available. you can only get the green card, permanent residency. that is all that is available to you. nothing else.
[color=#696969]
[color=#696969]nclex is only an exam, and only one part of the licensing processs. it is not the only thing.
[color=#696969]
[color=#696969]if they do not read or do their homework, they will be sitting there for years.
hi!e-mail me and i'll provide you with needed phone numbers, e-mails and clerks names. but keep in mind. they are incredibly slow and unorganized. i've been waiting for license for two months and still do not have it.
best regards

hi! i just received a message from nj bon. the application form is currently the same, but they will make minor changes in the future. we can still use what they have online now. the ces type of report to ask for is the "full education course-by-course report". toefl is required also. i don't know what type though, toefl-ibt or toefl-cbt. i wonder if ielts will be acceptable? i have yet to ask...

Hi! leaf rn. I have some helpful info if you're interested.
I understand that NJ BON requires CES thru cgfns. You submit your credentials to cgfns for evaluation. CES will issue an official report to the recipient BON.
For CES, you have to send a copy of your high school diploma to cgfns. You can also ask your high school to send a certified copy of your high school transcripts to cgfns (others chose to do this).
If this is relevant to your case, CES covers only up to 3 academic credentials (completed program) starting with secondary education. There’s an extra fee and form for additional services if there are more than 3 academic credentials. Please verify this from the website of cgfns and go over the forms.
For TOEFL, your best option is to take the iBT because it has replaced the CBT in most, if not all, parts in the US. The iBT can also be used for visascreen (in case you’ll need one later on), while the CBT does not have a speaking part.
I hope this helps.

thank you sooooooooooooo much! i was wondering
if they really need to evaluate my secondary education
credentials because i was told there's no need only
the authenticated diploma.. i went to two schools in
college, so meaning i need that to evaluate too as well
as to evaluate my license.. i know that i need to pay an
extra fee for that.. the only thing im worried about is i
made some mistake with the registration online and
i couldnt delete what ive ordered.. tssssk tssskkk!!!
thank you!

you're welcome.
if you haven't paid your order, you can still cancel it by sending a signed letter to cgfns. and then, you use the printed application form.
if you have already paid, you can send a signed letter detailing the errors and the correction. type your full name, birthdate and cgfns id number (if any) and the service order number.
send your letter/form thru a courier for faster delivery.

no. i havent paid yet, what i did was i made another
account (cgfns), i was asked if i had a previous id (application)
while i was registering a new account but i ticked the no
box :uhoh21: i know what i did was wrong... will
my previous account will affect the new one?
there was a one portion in the registration for ces thru cgfns
that i need to choose which credentials i need to be evaluated.. see below
the basic fee for the credentials evaluation service includes:
i just want to make sure, should i also include my
secondary education for this? or i should just submit
an authenticated high school diploma? sorry if i bother you
too much... your very helpful :wink2:
