new jersey no longer requires the cgfns exam, for initial licensure or endorsement.

you will need to get a ces, in place of that requirement. same as what illinois did.

cgfns processes the ces. www.cgfns.org.

HI suzanne,

i have an NY CVS application, which cgfns says will be mailed this week.

can CVS be considered as replacement for CES? so that i can also apply to NJ, since i was told that NY BON has now a long processing time.

THank you

The CVS for NY can only be used for NY.

For any state that requires the CES, you must have the CES.

The CVS and the CES are two completely different things.

Taking the NCLEX exam is the final step in the licensing procedure. Way down at the end of the line.

NJ requires the CES, and that needs to be done by CGFNS before they will even look at your application.

You need to submit an application for Licensure by Examination to NJ BON.

You will receive a letter from them telling you that you have met all of their requirements for licensure except for taking the NCLEX exam. At that point, and at that time only, do you register with Pearson-Vue for the exam. They will only release the ATT to you upon receiving payment from you, as well as approval from NJ to send it to you.

And then you can expect about a two month wait for a slot in Hong Kong, you may wish to reconsider another location.

HI!

E-mail me and I'll provide you with needed phone numbers, e-mails and clerks names. But keep in mind. they are incredibly slow and unorganized. I've been waiting for license for two months and still do not have it.

Best regards
