U.S.A. New Jersey

Published

I just got accepted into Jersey College which use to be Center for Allied Health and Nursing. I will be attending orientation on Feb 6 and start date on Feb 10. Are any of you enrolled in this school and what are your feelings about the LPN-RN program.

thanks...i wonder about the one in Teterboro....are you currently still enrolled?

I am looking into the Jacksonville campus. How is this school overall?

Any ideas about the Teterboro campus??? I just started and terrified

I don't know about the Teterboro campus @iryna1983. I just started the Jacksonville, Fl campus. Day 3 is today and so far our nutrition teacher is leaving and bad mouthing the school. She basically said it is unorganized and I noticed that as well. Some students do not have books or uniforms. The teachers have come in ill prepared. Hopefully today will be better.

Oh my!! I was considering going to Jersey College in Jacksonville. I might need to rethink my decision.

@vsnkoolcna mostly all the private schools are like that. I spoke to three people who graduated from Jersey before I committed. Everything they told me to expect is happening. The silver lining is all three of them passed their boards the first try. Jersey College does have a good pass rate. I'm going to stick it out. Today was better and we received our books. Always do your research and go for the school that fits best to you. GOOD LUCK

I heard they have a good nclex pass rate. Well I will be attending 😀 good luck with your studies!

They do the results came out two weeks ago. Good luck to you as well@vsnkoolcna

Hi @nurseangelique how was jersey college jacksonville for you? My girlfriend went and said to stay away but I see where the pass rates are good for the LPN, so im trying to figure out why not go? did you run into any issues at all? How were the instructors and clinicals? Did you get an opportunity to really practice on your skills and learn at the clinical sites? Do you feel you were well prepared for the field? Did your whole class graduate? I have a ton of questions thank you for your help.

@NewMe_favored I just started on 2/9/15 but I know three former graduates of the RN program. They all said that as long as you do your studying and come to class you should be good. Last week it was hectic until Thursday especially with the new term coming in. So far it has balanced out. I am content with my decision to attend Jersey College. Their pass rate is good as compared to several other schools in the area. I would advise you to come into the campus and talk to an adviser. They will allow you to speak with the department head and take a tour of the campus.

Thank you for replying! Are you doing LPN or RN? That's the thing I was trying to figure out, she said to stay away but their pass rates were good you know. How do the instructors seem so far and did you end up having to pay a lot for school? I was looking into 2 other schools also. Would like to really speak more about the program. Thanks again

I am already an LPN So I'm doing the RN bridge program. The instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable. The tuition is competitive with local non for profit schools
