ANY hope for a job in NJ???? Tips?

So I am looking to move back to the NY/NJ/CT area. It seems like getting a job as a new grad is impossible. I worked here in Florida for 6 months but planning to move back. I have a Associates, but will finish my BSN this year. Does anyone have ANY tips on how to get a job in NJ???? Any facilities that are hiring or will accept in-person applications?

Only LTC facilities will accept in person applications in much of the state.

Nearly every hospital in NJ has HR offsite and will only accept online applications from new hires. All employment inquiries must go through HR recruiters for a variety of reasons with no exceptions. Since HR is off site applying in person will get you directed to a computer kiosk to apply online.

Can you stay in FL for another six months? Leaving a new grad job after only 6 months won't look good to potential employers as it takes 12-24 months to become proficient at a job. Having at least a year of experience will be beneficial. With the oversupply of nurses, acute care facilities can be picky and only hire BSN prepared nurses.

It's very difficult. I agree with the previous post, if possible get a year experience under your belt before entering the competitive job market on the northeast.

Well for my situation, my partner is getting a job in NYC. I would never stop him from that opportunity. And since I don't have any family or friends here in Florida, it wouldn't make sense to stay here. I get that it is tough, but I don't know if there is any other way.
