Hi all!
I know it may be a bit early but I like to always get the ball rolling. Is there anyone that is looking to apply to the 2019-2020 accelerated nursing cohort at NJCU?? I'm looking to connect so we can keep each other updated throughout the process.
Hi,
For the HESI I used the HESI admission assessment 4th edition book. I believe it also had 2 practice exams that you can take online. That book was really good for every section except for AP. For AP you really need to go more in-depth for each topic. I recommend this page for some helpful links to review AP https://allnurses.com/hesi-entrance-exam/hesi-a2-entrance-1063745.html
I also downloaded the HESI pocket prep app for my phone. That app was amazing!! I did questions every day and it was definitely pretty accurate to the test. Hope this helps! Good luck!

My semester is finally over & allll of my Pre-Reqs are DONE! Time to study for the HESI. I plan to take it in January right before the last semester of Masters program starts.
What are your stats??
I'll post mine...
Bachelor's - Psych
Master's - Public Health Ed.
First degree GPA: 3.73
Pre-Req GPA: 3.63
HESI - TBD
Hoping I can score high on the HESI to give myself a better chance because my pre-req GPA isn't as competitive as others.
I think each section varied by how many questions. I believe AP and Bio had less questions than the English and math sections. But don't quote me on that. I took it awhile back so it may have changed since then
Hi lws626, you say there are 3 semesters. If you are able can you break down each semester more? How were the professors? Where were the clinicals and how was your experience? thank you
