Actually that comment is part of what nursing or any professional job is about my friend (I don't think you meant it this way, tho). A huge part of college is finding out if you have what it takes to be able to find answers yourself. In nursing if you cannot do this you will fail. GilaRN is right in that using Allnurses as another set of eyes to comment on your work would be a better approach. It's not that nurses won't be available to help you at work, it's that nursing is very much a solitary business in many ways. The buck will always stop with you.

To the OP, be mindful of your requests... your instructors will never admit to it, but are probably card carrying members of Allnurses. Doesn't take a genius to connect a post like yours to the student who posted it.

I did not mean to be hurtful.

I felt the OP was looking for a specific answer they could regurgitate instead of doing their own research.

Also, asking for a straight out answer is not only lazy, but dangerous. The answer you get may have been pulled from someone's butt and totally off-base... and now you are going to use that for an answer?

Oh yeah. Instructors know what's out there on the web. Some will straight out tell you so. Some play stupid.

I work with several instructors.

They KNOW!!
