Hi everyone, I'm a Filipino and U.S. immigrant. I took my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and graduated in the Philippines last 2010. I currently do not have a Philippine nursing license. 1. is it an obligatory requirement to obtain a Philippine nursing license as part of Credentials Evaluation Service (CES) report in applying for Virginia NCLEX-RN ? 2. Am i still required to take the CGFNS English proficiency exam despite i am already a U.S. immigrant ? Thanks ahead and please share a website or source of information

hi nrskarenrn, ostansipek and i have similar situation since i am a u.s. immigrant... 1. can i just waive in a requesting letter citing that i intend to work in the u.s. and not in the country of my nursing education ? 2. with the letter of waiver, would the illinois board of nursing exempt me from taking the philippine nursing licensure exam ?
