New Graduate Residency Programs

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to see if others had applied to either the Childrens or UCH (or both) new graduate residency programs. If so, it would be great to keep eachother updated on status and interviews!

Has anyone else heard back yet? Online it says the week of December 11, so I wasn't sure if that was this up coming week or last week.

Hi Klone! I saw that you are in interested in OB/Gyn and are a charge nurse in Denver? I am moving to Denver next month and very interested in OB/Gyn, L&D, NICU, and/or postpartum! I tried to direct message you but it says I have not been a member of the site/posted enough to do so yet. I am very interested in speaking with you further about your area of nursing in the Denver area.

I'm happy to talk with you about it. I've worked OB at 5 different local hospitals (three of which were through Centura's regional float pool several years ago), and am familiar with the NICUs at both UCH and Children's.

I applied to the ER and progressive medical/surgical. I'm also from out of state (Chicago). I just signed my lease for next month too! I'm pretty excited about the move. My fiancee just sent me out to find an apartment last weekend and I found a spot right in Lodo.

I just heard back from UCH and did not get an interview :( I'm pretty upset about it, but wish everyone else the best of luck!

I heard back from UCH too and didn't get an interview. Im pretty bummed since I am an ACP there. Oh well I applied for UCH northern new grad program and still waiting to hear back from Children's

Keep your head up and keep applying! The beauty of nursing is that there are so many positions available out there! Just keep applying to anything and everything out there. Good luck to you!
