I was hired at my first LVN job in Dec.
I was let go by February (basically I wouldn't play games with my license and stood up for myself) the facility was really in bad shape--but looked good from the outside.
I was hired on call in April at a new better run facility.
I learned from my mistakes. I worked my orifice off! I also completed my RN prereqs while working. I made myself available and tried hard to be a good nurse.
Yesterday, I was hired full time, with benefits and a raise! I'm so happy! So thankful to God for making this possible.
There is hope for LVNs! Yeah!!!!!!!!

Congrats! I know it's a tough job market out there for all nurses and especially for us LPNs!

BIG GRATS!!! Best of luck to ya always.
Actually, people at work keep on telling me this. I'm so happy. I just pray I can keep doing a good job there, and I hope to learn a lot about how to be an excellent nurse, also. I have to say, I love my job! (-: God is so good!!
