New grad RN salaries in hospitals

During clinical an LPN I was assigned to gave me a salary expectation as a first year grad RN. I'm not sure if it's accurate so could any of you post your salary (or per hour, no OT) in the hospital in any specialty right out of school? Specifically in FL but all are welcome.

I hope this doesn't come across as rude, because I mean it more as a caution:

#1.) Your 'source' might not know as much as she thinks she does, and,

#2.) Don't count your chickens before they're hatched.

Oops, I forgot to specify ADN/BSN. Thanks SoaringOwl for providing both. Is this for FL first years?

Yes.

Message too short: :sarcastic:

New grad RN's in the sunshine state can expect to make around $21-24 in the acute setting.

Outpatient and etc will likely be a few bucks higher.

I am an ASN nurse and I make 23$/hr base in south Florida. Then if u are nights gotta love the differentials ???

Depends on area and the type of position in FL . Hospitals in Miami, Orlando, etc. would be 21 to 25 perhaps for positions with benefits. Hospitals in more rural facilities, the rates may be lower, more like 19 - 22. RN positions in office/clinic jobs, expect a drop in pay of 1-4 dollars per hour. Non benefited positions, add a few dollars per hour. Seasonal positions get paid more, also.
